Rare Executive Leadership Opportunity
Supporting the Mary Potter Hospice
Our client, The Mary Potter Foundation, a South Australian charity, has been around since 1987 when it was recognised that the Mary Potter Hospice could not survive without support from the community. A group of dedicated people closely associated with the Hospice formed an auxiliary that became an incorporated association in 1988.
Since then, thanks to the support of generous and caring South Australians, the Mary Potter Hospice has remained as one of the most important and highly regarded providers of in-patient palliative and end of life care. Hundreds of patients and their families every year are so grateful for the compassion, dignity and love that the Hospice team brings into their lives.
The rare opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a new Executive Director to continue the superb work of the Foundation in financially supporting the Mary Potter Hospice. We are seeking a highly talented and experienced senior executive, skilled in balancing strategic management and leadership with focussed fundraising and donor relations activities.
Supported by an agile, dynamic and dedicated team of Donor Care, Development, Communications and Administration staff and volunteers who emulate a culture of donor centricity, the ED derives significant professional satisfaction from facilitating a myriad range of resources across a wide network of supporters who all share the passion for the Foundation’s Mission.
The Foundation’s Values: Good stewards, Hug and delight, Attitude of gratitude, Lively and joyful and Learn and grow underpin the importance of mutual trust, ethics, integrity, altruism and transparency in communication and action. All the while the focus is on making a substantial difference to patients and their families. If you have an affinity for these Values, and the selection criteria, then this role may be for you.
