Our client, Eastern Waste Management Authority (trading as East Waste) is a regional subsidiary of the Adelaide Hills Council, City of Burnside, Campbelltown City Council, City of Mitcham, City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters, City of Prospect and the Corporation of the Town of Walkerville (Member Councils of the Authority).  East Waste’s primary purpose is to provide effective waste collection services for its Member Councils.

We are seeking a dynamic, customer service and systems centric professional to assist in elevating the business to the next level.  Overseeing the corporate and strategic functions of the business, the role has broad responsibilities suited to an energetic and engaging professional who can successfully juggle a range of projects and activities to drive East Waste’s overall success.

With customer service functions at the forefront of East Waste’s business, the successful candidate will have proven experience implementing systems and programs and driving individual performance improvement to complement a broader customer-focussed mantra.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be part of a small executive team responsible for the strategic, financial and operational delivery of all activities.  Your specific role carries oversight of financial activities, corporate governance, mandatory reporting, business systems maintenance and improvement, Board reporting and business development.
